The price is a reference figure from our own rate feed, not a quote — every swap is re-priced across our liquidity partners at the moment you confirm, and the best receive amount wins. How that comparison works is on the methodology page.

About Monero

Monero conceals the sender, the receiver and the amount of every transaction by construction. Ring signatures hide which output is really being spent, stealth addresses mean the address you publish is never the one that appears on chain, and RingCT hides the value. There is no transparent mode to fall back to, so every user contributes to everyone else’s privacy.

That mandatory design is the practical difference between Monero and opt-in privacy chains. Where shielding is a choice, only a fraction of users take it, and that fraction is itself a small, conspicuous set; where it is mandatory, the anonymity set is the entire network.

Blocks arrive about every two minutes. Monero is also unusually widely quoted across our liquidity partners, which keeps the spread on XMR pairs competitive despite the delistings elsewhere.

Sending and receiving XMR

  • Set a refund address. It is the only route funds have back to you if a swap cannot complete — a deposit below the minimum, or one arriving after the quote window closed. See refund handling.
  • Nothing is held for you. Deposits are forwarded, not stored, and the data kept is the amount and the two addresses — purged once the swap finalizes. The full picture is on the privacy page.

XMR exchange pairs

Any pair is quotable, not just these — every supported coin can be swapped against every other, and the popular routes each have a page of their own.

XMR — common questions

How do I swap XMR without an account?

Pick the pair, enter an amount, and give a destination address and a refund address. There is no registration, no email and no identity check — you send the deposit from your own wallet and the funds are forwarded on. Nothing is held on your behalf at any point.

When is my XMR sent out?

As soon as the deposit has the confirmations the network requires — the exchange runs automatically, with no manual approval step and no queue on our side. You can follow every stage on the tracking page a swap gets the moment it is created.

Is there a minimum XMR amount?

Yes, and it moves with network conditions, so the widget shows the live figure for whichever pair you pick before you confirm. Minimums exist to keep on-chain costs a small fraction of the swap rather than swallowing it. There is no maximum.
