About Ethereum
Ethereum is a general-purpose blockchain: alongside ETH itself, it runs the smart contracts behind most stablecoins, tokens and decentralised applications. Since the 2022 move to proof-of-stake, blocks are produced on a fixed twelve-second schedule, so deposits confirm predictably rather than in the variable bursts of a mining network.
ETH is the asset every Ethereum transaction is paid in. Holding a token on the network without holding ETH means holding something you cannot move, which is why funding a fresh address with ETH is usually the first step rather than the last.
An Ethereum address is a permanent public record of everything it has ever done — every token received, every contract approved, every counterparty. That history follows the address, not the person, but the two converge the moment one deposit is made to a KYC exchange.
Sending and receiving ETH
- Set a refund address. It is the only route funds have back to you if a swap cannot complete — a deposit below the minimum, or one arriving after the quote window closed. See refund handling.

How do I swap ETH without an account?
Pick the pair, enter an amount, and give a destination address and a refund address. There is no registration, no email and no identity check — you send the deposit from your own wallet and the funds are forwarded on. Nothing is held on your behalf at any point.
When is my ETH sent out?

Is there a minimum ETH amount?
Yes, and it moves with network conditions, so the widget shows the live figure for whichever pair you pick before you confirm. Minimums exist to keep on-chain costs a small fraction of the swap rather than swallowing it. There is no maximum.
