Tether tracks the US dollar one for one, so USDT to USD needs no conversion table: one USDT is one dollar, give or take the spread wherever you are reading it. What that peg rests on — who issues the token, what backs it and who can freeze it — is below.
These are reference figures from our own rate feed, not quotes — every swap is re-priced across our liquidity partners at the moment you confirm, and the best receive amount wins. How that comparison works is on the methodology page.

About Tether
The TRC-20 version of USDT (Tether USD) is labelled USDT TRC20 in most wallets and exchange withdrawal menus. It settles on Tron, where blocks come every three seconds and a transfer costs cents rather than dollars. That cost difference is why this, rather than the Ethereum version, carries the bulk of global stablecoin volume.
It is the same claim on the same issuer as ERC-20 USDT, on a different chain. The two are not interchangeable: a transfer sent to an address on the wrong network is gone. USDT tokens are issued on more than a dozen chains, and Tether USDT TRC20 is the one most often meant when a payment asks for USDT without saying more. By market value Tether is a top cryptocurrency, among the largest after Bitcoin and Ether.
Cheap and fast does not mean private. Tron transfers are fully public, and issuer-level address freezes apply here exactly as they do on Ethereum — the token is a smart contract, and the issuer holds the freeze key. Transfers settle 24 hours a day, which is why crypto exchanges lean on this version for moving dollar balances between venues. Swapping into or out of it here needs no sign up: give a Tron address and the swap runs from your own wallet. Where can I buy USDT TRC-20 without an account? Any coin can be swapped for it here: an anonymous USDT TRC-20 exchange, where you swap USDT TRC-20 without KYC. As a TRC-20 exchange it pays out only on Tron, and the USDT TRC-20 to USD rate stays within a fraction of a cent of one dollar.
Sending and receiving USDT
- Before you send. Match the network exactly. This is the Tron TRC-20 token, so the receiving address must be a Tron address beginning with `T`.
- Set a refund address. Funds go back there automatically if a swap cannot complete — a deposit below the minimum, or one arriving after the quote window closed. Without one, a refund needs a message to support instead. See refund handling.
- Nothing is held for you. Deposits are forwarded, not stored, and the data kept is the amount and the two addresses — purged once the swap finalizes. The full picture is on the privacy page.
Buy USDT TRC-20 without an account
The usual way to buy Tether is a centralized exchange: open an account, pass identity verification, link a bank account or a card, and pay in fiat currency. It works, and every step of it is recorded against your name — the purchase, the payment details and the address you withdraw to. If you already hold any other coin there is a shorter route: convert it into USDT here. A Tether swap needs no account and no verification, exchange processing is automatic once the deposit lands, and the USDT goes straight to a wallet you control, so you keep full control of the keys from the first minute.
What this site does not do is take a card or a bank transfer. There is no fiat on-ramp, by design, because the on-ramp is exactly the step that requires identity. If you hold nothing yet, buy something liquid on an exchange you are prepared to be verified at, withdraw it, and swap from there. The swap is the step with no account in it — the withdrawal before it still sits on a public chain under your name, which is Bitcoin anonymous explains.
USDT swap minimum amount, network fee and exchange rate
- Minimum amount
- The live minimum amount of USDT for each pair is shown in the widget before you confirm. It moves with network conditions rather than being a fixed figure, and there is no maximum.
- Network fee
- The fee for delivering coins to your wallet address is already inside the receive amount. The one cost outside the quote is the transaction fee your own wallet pays to send the USDT deposit on Tron.
- Exchange rate
- USDT exchange rates are compared in real time across several partners when you enter the amount, and re-priced server-side the moment you confirm, so the rate you see is the rate the order is created with.
- Processing time
- A swap out of USDT runs once your USDT transaction to the deposit address has the network confirmations the partner requires, and Tether transactions settle in blocks that come every ~3 sec. How many it waits for depends on the amount and on network congestion, so the tracking page shows the live count.

USDT — frequently asked questions
What is the current USDT price?
$0.9998, from our own rate feed at the time this page was served. It is a reference figure rather than a quote: every swap is re-priced live across our liquidity partners the moment you confirm, and the best receive amount is what the order is created with.
How do I swap USDT without an account?
Pick the pair, enter an amount, and give a destination address and a refund address. There is no registration, no email and no identity check — you send the deposit from your own wallet and the funds are forwarded on. Nothing is held on your behalf at any point.
When is my USDT sent out?
As soon as the deposit has the confirmations the network requires — the exchange runs automatically, with no manual approval step and no queue on our side. You can follow every stage on the tracking page a swap gets the moment it is created.
Is there a minimum USDT amount?
Yes, and it moves with network conditions, so the widget shows the live figure for whichever pair you pick before you confirm. Minimums exist to keep on-chain costs a small fraction of the swap rather than swallowing it. There is no maximum.
Which network does USDT settle on here?
Tron, as a TRC-20 token. The same ticker exists on several chains and the versions are not interchangeable — a transfer to an address on the wrong network cannot be recovered by us or by the exchange.
