About Arkham
Arkham is a blockchain intelligence platform: it attributes addresses to real people and organisations, and sells access to those attributions. Its "intel exchange" lets users bid for the deanonymisation of specific addresses. ARKM is the token used across that marketplace.
It belongs on this site for a reason beyond being tradeable. Arkham is a working demonstration of the thing that makes transparent chains a privacy problem: address clustering plus off-chain data is enough to put a name on a wallet, and there is a business in doing it at scale. If you want the argument for why a public ledger is not pseudonymous in practice, this company is the argument.
ARKM is an ERC-20 on Ethereum, and its own transfers are as visible as anyone else’s.
