These are reference figures from our own rate feed, not quotes — every swap is re-priced across our liquidity partners at the moment you confirm, and the best receive amount wins. How that comparison works is on the methodology page.

About Chainlink

A smart contract cannot see anything that is not already on its chain — not a price, not a match result, not the weather. Chainlink is the network of independent node operators that report those facts, aggregating across sources so no single reporter can move the answer alone. LINK is what the contracts requesting that data pay them in.

Much of decentralised finance depends on those price feeds, which makes Chainlink one of the pieces of infrastructure a great deal of on-chain value is quietly resting on.

The token exists on many chains. Our liquidity partners settle the original Ethereum ERC-20, under Ethereum’s twelve-second blocks and Ethereum gas.

Sending and receiving LINK

  • Before you send. LINK settles here as an ERC-20 on Ethereum. LINK also exists on several other networks at addresses of the same 0x shape, so confirm the receiving wallet is watching Ethereum itself.
  • Set a refund address. It is the only route funds have back to you if a swap cannot complete — a deposit below the minimum, or one arriving after the quote window closed. See refund handling.
  • Nothing is held for you. Deposits are forwarded, not stored, and the data kept is the amount and the two addresses — purged once the swap finalizes. The full picture is on the privacy page.

LINK exchange pairs

LINK is quotable against anything else we list — every supported coin can be swapped against every other, and the popular routes each have a page of their own.

LINK — common questions

What is the current LINK price?

$11.25, from our own rate feed at the time this page was served. It is a reference figure rather than a quote: every swap is re-priced live across our liquidity partners the moment you confirm, and the best receive amount is what the order is created with.

How do I swap LINK without an account?

Pick the pair, enter an amount, and give a destination address and a refund address. There is no registration, no email and no identity check — you send the deposit from your own wallet and the funds are forwarded on. Nothing is held on your behalf at any point.

When is my LINK sent out?

As soon as the deposit has the confirmations the network requires — the exchange runs automatically, with no manual approval step and no queue on our side. You can follow every stage on the tracking page a swap gets the moment it is created.

Is there a minimum LINK amount?

Yes, and it moves with network conditions, so the widget shows the live figure for whichever pair you pick before you confirm. Minimums exist to keep on-chain costs a small fraction of the swap rather than swallowing it. There is no maximum.

Which network does LINK settle on here?

Ethereum, as a ERC-20 token. The same ticker exists on several chains and the versions are not interchangeable — a transfer to an address on the wrong network cannot be recovered by us or by the exchange.
