About Ondo
Ondo Finance issues tokens that represent holdings of short-term US government debt, putting an instrument that normally requires a brokerage into a wallet. The appeal is a yield-bearing balance that settles on-chain in minutes.
ONDO, the asset quoted here, is the governance token — not one of those instruments. It is a vote in how the protocol is run, and holding it is not a claim on the treasuries the platform holds. The two are easy to conflate and are entirely different exposures.
It is an ERC-20 on Ethereum, so it settles under Ethereum’s twelve-second blocks and its transfers cost ETH.

- Before you send. ONDO settles here as an ERC-20 on Ethereum; the receiving address must be an Ethereum address.
- Set a refund address. It is the only route funds have back to you if a swap cannot complete — a deposit below the minimum, or one arriving after the quote window closed. See refund handling.
